For my final project the critical analysis essay I chose the movie The Wedding Banquet Xi yan in Chinese by Ang Lee. This movie is funny and touching in its all-too-realistic depiction of Gao Wei-Tungs protracted attempts to please his parents and hide his sexuality and indeed his lover.
